1. Go into Files.
2. Click the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the window.
3. Click on Add New Service.
4. Click on SMB File Share.
5. Type in “smb://” without quotes.
6. Then type in the address for the file server.
7. You can put anything you want in the Display Name field, for this example we will use Network Share.
8. Type in the username for a user with proper permissions to open the File Server.
9. Type in the password for the user.
10. If you would not like to save the login credentials for the Network Share uncheck “RememberSign-In Info.”
11. Click on the Network Share.
12. Confirm that the proper folders are visible.
